In GSS Group we are aware of the importance for large companies of working with partners that offer a Business Continuity guarantee, in the event that a disaster is declared. For this reason, we have designed a plan that avoids jeopardizing the corporate reputation of our clients, as well as their link with interest groups (clients, employees, shareholders, media, suppliers, etc.).
In this sense, we have developed a Business Continuity Management System (BCMS) aligned with the ISO 22301 methodology, where from the BIA (Business Impact Analysis) and risk analysis, potential disaster scenarios are identified, activating specific strategies for each scenario and recovery plans, with which GSS guarantees, in case of disaster, the implementation of a complete coordinated device for the resumption of our processes and services in the shortest possible time and to reduce the impact on the services we provide to our clients.
Thanks to our BCMS, in Grupo GSS we have the necessary reaction capacity to get back to normal, in the most effective way, after an unexpected interruption of business activities due to a disaster.
The objective of GSS Group is to be prepared for different scenarios of disasters of different magnitude and scope that may affect the development of our activity. The GSS Group globality, helps establish robust continuity plans by offering connection alternatives from different geographical locations. Likewise, GSS Group is sensitive to the needs of different industries, being aware that certain sectors, such as the insurer, demand to guarantee the operational continuity of the companies (Solvency II in Europe).
Our BCMS is the result of an in-depth analysis of the different potential situations that could occur, and an assessment of the impact of the paralysis of our services. Based on this, we detail the order, priority and times in which each of the processes must be recovered, as well as the resources necessary to reach an adequate level of service after the disaster. According to the results of the analyzes, we have designed solutions and procedures for the normal recovery of the activity.
Within GSS Group we know that all our clients' processes are relevant and that their continuity must be guaranteed, we work under a priority scheme based on the criticality of the processes that have been affected, dimensioning the action plans according to the of the RTOs (target recovery time) and the MTPD (maximum tolerable disruption time) of each service. In this way we guarantee the least possible impact on our customers.
